Another seven days are gone. Here you’ve got the English version of the posts published here at Eve and Adam’s Daughters and Sons last week, my Tuesday Times section. Hope you like it and leave a comment, 😉
- Initiatives about health in the net: those invisible and forgotten by the health system, wise prescription and more: Three have been the initiatives about health in the net this week: the last issue of a twelve-issue series about Primary Care in Primary Care, 12 months, 12 causes, this last one dedicated to those invisible and forgotten by the health system; another one that has just begun, a series of blog posts to reflect and improve prescription and some reflections about that one about improving the health system through little gestures announced previous Monday
- FAMIPED, parents and challenges: FAMIPED stands for Families and Pediatricians, and is the name of the online publication of the Spanish Association of Pediatrics of Primary Care, addressed to children, youth, families and those health care professionals that work with them. This last issue has some interesting articles and, as usual, a section called children withourt borders, dedicated to those children that haven’t had the fortune of being born in the developed world; this one is a tribute form a member from Save the children to those parents that struggle every day because of their children.

- Look into my eyes, I’m here… differentiate yourself: Official presentation of an iniative 2.0. More than 30 health care professionals working for four months to make an idea happen, the idea that we all should be aware of the importance of a gaze, of a gesture, of the nonverbal communication in the patient-health care professional relationship. It’s not just ethics, it’s an essential feature that can provide meaningful results if we speak about health care outcomes. Will you, as an individual or institution, join us?
